This saga/era? I don't really know the word i want but it's so boring. It took me forever to read this chapter. Ivy needs to get back on her journey like please hurry up and leave this town. I love the adventurers watching out for her the interactions are super cute they can come along too lol. Wouldnt have a problem with that at all just solve this mess and dip.

Nah I think this is a necessary sidetrack from the journey in the long run. Ivy being useful to a great problem (organization of illegal slavery on a grand scale) and building the trust and respect with multiple people will slowly unfold people's blind belief that having more stars is better. So when the truth comes out she's starless, it will be easier for people to digest that stars aren't everything. It's important that she gets as many people to see her value... Convincing one village or a handful of people won't be enough to solidify this change of mentality since if the majority is against it (as seen in the village), the people that support her won't be able to fight back accusations towards, be ignored when things go south and the folks look for a scapegoat.

Plus the organization is very sly and sneaky with great liars in different factions and are very throughout in hiding evidences. Plus its big. Cutting done 2-3 heads won't be enough to properly shut it down and cut all loose ends. It's a process that needs time and Ivy's slime is the only that can tell who's lying so she has to be there. It is long but this the proper way to do it without giving attracting the suspicion of the organization who will run away the moment they sense someone is investigating them. Some may say the best way is to cut them down asap so they can't get away but that only works if they know all people involved. That's why they digging the traitors one by one before taking actions.
