That’s how you know those TJ stans like TJ only cause of his appearance and sexual tension. They don’t seem to focus on the story itself. They bash Jo so much for no good reason it’s crazy. I know there are some sane TJ rooters but majority of them are bashing Jo.
lol it's always like this in any story with a love triangle, people literally start wishing death threats on each other over these characters it's crazy tbh but to put my mind at ease i stopped replying to people like that. people don't realise that every character has a role in this story and that this story talks about a lot more than just "omg who is ian gonna pick". that just shows people who read just to see tj or just to see joe literally don't care much for the actual plot.

I just want to say that on our side of the table, we always see most of the Jo stans only bashing TJ and misreading and purposely changing the story to fit their headcanons as well, and I've seen some of them going really aggressive.
My verdict is that most of the people in EVERY fandom are just damaged and, as you say, they don't actually care about the story. They spend more time hunting those who think differently than enjoying what they like.
I highly hope Ian and TJ can heal together and live the life I think both want, but if the story turns to other ways, I'm open as long as it makes sense. I know I'll have Ao3 and fanarts to heal myself later haha
I barely see Jo stans bashing TJ for no good reason. I see TJ Stans bashing Jo on every platform, calling him a random, etc. all I’m saying is that majority of the fandom are TJ shippers and bash Jo more than I see Jo stans bash.
I’m neutral side and just waiting for endgame to be revealed, honestly I’m rooting more for TJ but I also won’t mind Jo. It’s just disgusting to see a lot of the readers here antagonizing Jo.
And of course theres always bad fans in each fandom, I’m just trying to say TJ fans do the most
People are so cruel on Jo for no reason. I was excited to see to the new update and I just found out how most TJ stans aren't bother to read the story cause TJ isn't there. I'm a Jo stan and I really hate TJ but I won't downplay his role cause he's also very important in the story. I pay equal attention to him, the same how I do with Jo and Ian or any characters for that matter. They don't want Ian to receive a little love and comfort from Jo. They are saying it's better to read TJ focused story than the "cheap romance" between Ian and Jo. They are desperate to portray Jo as an evil dude who trying to enforce his feelings on Ian. When did he ever enforce anything on Ian? It's tiring to see Jo being hated and mocked on a daily basis for doing nothing wrong. I still remember a comment from a TJ stan saying just cause Jo help to heal Ian doesn't mean that Ian will choose him. She might be right cause I will never trust the author who has an anti Jo allegations on her. She wants to write an unexpected ending. She likes reasoning and ambushes, so the final ending may not have been guessed by anyone. To all Jo stans here, never place any hopes regarding the endgame.
