okay so,
basically kdj and hsy were on their car, and then kdj died and woke up in this unknown place, hsy explained that this some people attacked them and she failed to protect kdj and they woke up here. now hsy also explained that while kdj was unconcious some constellation came to visit him so kdj was surprised that the constellations themselves appeared in front of him and not the incarnations of their constellations, because for constellation to appear in front of humans, it consumes lot of probability
incarnations- the humans constellations choose to sponsor. (example- hsy as abyssal black flame dragon as her sponsor)
probability- its this balancing power, its like a scale of balance, if one of the balance tilts other side, to equalise it the constellation have to face a probability storm, so in this case for constellations to appear on earth, which is higly unfair towards humans as constellations are powerful being, they face probability strom, so no constellation usually takes risk of that.
so kdj figured he wasnt on earth but on some other space, the 8 gate formation. now then he realised the person who was capable of forming this was person who was realeased from prison according to the novel.
so basically that person leads him to where his mother is, and kdj tries to convice her that his mother is just using her (because kdj told his mother some parts of the novel, she has some info of it) but that lady only says that he is misleaded. anyway kdj enters the house and the house is the same house they used to live in before kdj's mother went in prison
so obviously kim dokja asked why she killed him, and she told him it was to check if she was the person kdj loved the most(because in the fate mssg he got, it was told he was gonna die by the person he loved the most) anyway kdj got pissed and told her he is still getting the fate message and her plan failed
(the artist did a great job making his mother appear like a total villain)

his mother sat, on the couch kept telling him ""i love you"", but kdj just couldnt bring himself to use lie detector, because the possibility it was false scared him so much.

the summarise the talk bw him and his mother:
kdj hated his mother not because she killed his dad, but because she wrote a story and went in a prison. he was furious that his entire abuse and trauma was just turned into a story for people to read, that his entire identity was a murders son, he couldnt understand why she didnt run away with him.
anyway his mother asked what are his intentions rn, and he said he has to reach the end of the scenarios, his mother called was confused why he was strugling sm for this, but kdj explained that this novel is his entire world, when her mother was absent, when he was bullied, when he was enlisted in millatary and when he got job, this novel was with him.
again his mother informed him this was no longer a fiction but reality and happily ever after doesnt exist in reality, his mother demanded him to stay in the house as she was scared to lose him again, but kim dokja refused and was ready to fight

anyway as the begun to fight, his mom revealed her sponsor, the founders mother, its one of the strongest constellation in the korean peninsualla, and using her power she trapped both hsy and kdj, his mother also had the eight beaded bell, whis is powerful relic, to steal opponesnt ability.
anyway kdj and hsy coulnt get out by normal means, so kdj pulled out the, echo of stars thingy, which he last used to break the throne in earlier chapter, if you remember. he was summoning greyo the sword constellation using it and ofc he was facing the probabilty storm, kdj started complining none of this wouldnt happen if hsy hadnt used him as a shield to protect herself as explained by that prisioner. suddenly hsy''s constellation interupts and says, she was protecting his dick
so basically to save his dick, she redirected the bullet(?) to his heart(this was so funny)

btw the echo of stars thing is a relic to summon a constellation by spending points,
