How diverse is the female cast also? I hope she doesn't become a strong unique female "specimen" to show its "gender equality". But anyway, I'll give it a chance and perhaps review when I see fit. Thanks
Actually it happens almost for the episodes following on. Girl gets told off by guy to stay behind and be "protected". Girl defies which is great but ends up being caught for the guy to save and prove the guy's word right. And just more opportunity for damsel in distress and shining knight. And the police are unprofessional to the point that they're more worried about a girl being taken by the male character than actual professional cases. Still reading but I haven't seen much of a light out of the tunnel
if you arent a fan of this one i really recommend Beauty Pop if you have yet to read it. its fantastic.
Was excited cos it's a featured manga. Checked out the first chap. Stereotypical gender roles. Only one girl. Young. Gets doted upon by very unprofessional horny policemen. Gets pulled around by obvious soon to be romance partner. Thinks a young girl looking at dead body is not normal (it is. I know a few). After the first case the two of them got in trouble with superiors but only she gets forgiven cos she's cute? I don't want to put this down too soon so I want to ask fans here if it gets better or just has some X factor or it's just the same trope playing out
