Not everyone was sexually assaulted/ raped but it doesn’t mean they weren’t a victim of bullying. Yeah he turned a blind eye to it but he still tried to help despite being so scared, and he was only following the rules of the game just like everyone else (me personally I would not be able to help the person who caused my downfall in the previous game)
Sure a lot happened to Azusa but with your mentality the he didn’t have it as bad as hs friends brother and therefore had no right in interfering with him attacking eno?
yeah but idk me personally i think it’s pretty shitty that he thinks HE specifically has the right to be “forgiving people” when he was literally complacent in the system and most of the people through almost the entirety of the story (aka when karino became king) were entirely targeting azusa, not him.
I mean I get where you’re coming from, those people specifically targeted Azusa so he had no right to forgive theemmmmm but asumu also wasn’t speaking directly to those people, he was talking to his class entirely.
And we did see Azusa get bullied but from the looks of it, he had it a bit more tame since karino didn’t allow them to hurt him….
I’m sure asuma also unfortunately got assaulted as it seems like a pattern to sexually assault targets, but we didn’t see that since this was karinos and azusas story yk? they didn’t really dive into asumas bullying so we don’t really know honestly…
(I wanna say this w/o being rude bc you responded pretty nicely, but it seems a bit hypocritical to say that about asumu when Azusa was full on endorsing the bullying/ mocking him/ a whole bunch of other stuff……. I’m not saying he deserved it….. I’m just saying asumu had every right to do worse in his position…… but I love him for being able to forgive Azusa (╯°Д °)╯╧╧
Last thing I know this is pretty long, one thing I did find odd was that asumu went back to the same school to become a teacher??? It felt a bit out of character for some reason idk if it’s just me??

But i think the reason all he could do was ignore it is bc when he tried to help someone else got hurt (when he told the teacher a target from a different class got sent to the hospital) and leaving the game wouldn’t help at all it would just make more burden for others (kuse or even asuza would have to protect him) so really he couldn’t do much and I’m pretty sure he realized (although immorally) Karino was trying to protect Azusa in his twisted way.
yeah ik where you’re coming from and while i do agree that asumu was also a victim at some point, for the majority of the story he’s being protected by kuze and literally for the entire story and presumably until literally the end of their high school years, azusa had been forced to “atone” for his own behaviour as king by enduring tremendous suffering and torment from his peers (as we’ve seen). i really don’t think it’s fair to say that karino was protecting azusa at all, because karino is the one who brought azusa down in the first place and was actually the main perpetrator in abusing azusa. sure he would “save” azusa from gangs of other students sometimes, but then he’d rape him immediately afterwards. that is abuse, not protection. the relationship with kuze and asumu on the other hand was mutual and consensual. so that’s why i feel like asumu shouldn’t be the one who’s owed the “right” to be forgiving people. azusa is the one whipped everyone into shape at the end and dismantled the system, meanwhile asumu was living his best life with kuze and never had to personally endure the torment that azusa went through. asumu had kuze to protect him. azusa’s “protector”, as you like to call it, was also his main abuser. also with azusa’s unstable mother, he literally had no one. so for azusa to destroy the caste system and ultimately save the very people who abused him instead of getting revenge (which he had every right to), it personally pisses me off that asumu thinks HE has the right to “forgive” people when he did jackshit basically. but of course that’s just my opinion and ur entitled to urs
bro lowkey that bitch atsumu pisses me off. he has such a pathetic victim mentality and he always pretends like he’s the poorest most pitiful person when in reality the shit that azusa was put through was like 10000x worse. and in the last chapter he has the audacity to be like “but i do not hate anyone for what happened” bitch if u don’t stfu….. like first of all the only person who has the right to be forgiving people is azusa, and second of all atsumu was literally complacent in the system and he even sometimes enabled the abuse that azusa suffered because he could just simply turn a blind eye since kuze was protecting him. this shit pisses me off so much, like azusa really deserved better.
