I know it’s supposed to be cute but, if this was real life, she’d be leading him on and he’d be dubious as well. It’s obvious he likes her, yet she’s letting him live with her and being way too intimate. On his end, he isn’t confessing, but is holding out hope. This is the type of situation where he gets bitter and says “women don’t like nice guys” even though he was too scared to confess and it was obvious he liked her and she never responded, thus indicating it wasn’t going to happen. I’m sure the manga will clean it up, but it’s very childish.
