Does Hu Nuer get punished or killed after being found out? How does that play out? I ain't finishing this story and I just need to at least know this for my own sanity lmao

Yup, he gets imprisoned and executed. Mc goes to meet him and he says he is the prince of the country that’s annihilated my the ML so obviously, he has grudge against ML, but because of “love” he couldn’t harm Ml but instead retaliated against the emperor. His story kinda makes sense except the “love” part.
Another major spoiler. The plot doesn’t even end there when ML’s regret arc begins, mc goes blind and whole plot happens and Mc ends up in foreign prince’s country, ml finds him, and some more things happen and Mc literally dies, and his body goes missing, he turns out alive, but becomes mentally impaired. The foreign prince and Mc plan their marriage but the foreign prince knows Mc doesn’t love him. So… another man with magic abilities appears and the man offers to make MC fall in love with the foreign prince. I think that’s the point where we lose trust in foreign prince………. I feel like this manhua should be uploaded separately tho. There’s so much plot left, I think it has much more to unravel than Silent lover. Ml’s regret is quite satisfying and he really sheds his arrogance, it’s quite the character development.
