Agreed. And I don't like how Ritsuka is playing support for another band. I wanted the four of them to make their band successful!!!
Nah. Ritsuka deserves to have all the attention, success, happiness and more in this sequel. He was sidelined and it seemed like he was a freaking background/side character in Given.

I don't mind Ritsuka thriving. I just want him to thrive WITH the other 3 bandmates (Mafuyu, Akihito and Haruki)

Honestly this has been bugging me for a while though. It feels like Ritsuka is getting to do all of the things that Mafuyu wants to do while Mafuyu is just running around in circles. It's frustrating to read. Great for Ritsuka, don't get me wrong, but I want to watch Mafuyu get the same opportunities
Honestly I know it's petty but like I'm kinda pissed that after all that, it feels like Ritsuka is the main character and not Mafuyu. Ritsuka is getting everything he wanted and has been super successful but we're hardly hearing anything about Mafuyu??? I thought the whole thing was that Mafuyu progressed rapidly and has such a knack and a drive for music, but instead we're seeing Ritsuka succeed there??? It doesn't make sense to me that Mafuyu isn't the one joining a band and gaining acclaim like... ugh I kind of hate it
