Redemption Arc

I think the Redeption Arc is going to be extremely unsatisfying or anticlimactic at best.
I mean, Dan and the fandom are on two completely different pages --or books even. Dan doesn't see anything wrong with Jaekyung as a person to begin with. He admires and loves him. From Dan's point of view the only problem in the relationship is that JK doesn't like him back. Only the fandom keeps tabs on JK evil behavior. So, I'm afraid it's Dan that's gonna try and prove himself to JK to earn back his trust, and not the other way around. After enough sacrificing JK will think that Dan is someone worthy of trust and that's how they're going to officially start dating in the end.

That’s what I’ve been sayiiiing !!! JK won’t have to do much, or to even reflect on his behaviors because Dan is already in love and is already excusing his shitty behaviors. So all he’ll have to do is to give the bare minimum and it will be enough for Dan.

(Just speculation but...) I personally think it's gonna go a different direction. I think after Dan's grandma inevitably passes he's gonna want to disappear because that's the whole reason he took the job and Jk is gonna have to go looking for him. Bcz if you remember that's what sort of happened in BJ Alex. I feel the Author will drag out the separation more this time around to really drive us nuts

That's what I used to think until Dan dedicated an entire month working his butt off, just so that he can buy a gift for Jaekyung. Meanwhile, Dan didn't visit his terminally ill grandmother even once during that month. He said so himself. Maybe it's bad/inconsistent character writing or Dan's simply more obsessed with JK than anxious about his grandma.
