1. Their shift in friendship to lovers is vague. Must be the suspension bridge working there. It's not just the "intimacy" but the lack of explicit romantic acknowledgement. So somehow the romance feels forced rather than "omg, they really are in love" 2. Family dynamics is so alienating. My mindset just doesn't click with something so indirect and cold. But it is giving "practical and realistic" with the way it imposes "self-actuality" in being a CEO or someone worth standing beside the other. It's just really cold.
