How deep is his love???? Kurose's feelings.... just asking for opinion

I'm curious, not hating, but why would you think Kurose's feelings aren't legit? I can see the parallel with the man he knew when he was young, but I thought it was well established that Kurose's past experience was the reason he approached Shirotani and the feels came later when they got closer. I also understand that Shirotani's meek behaviour just so happens to fit a little too perfectly into Kurose's dominant kinks, but I don't see how those traits push away the possiblitity of Kurose being absolutely in love with him. If anything, they strenghten the bond and need for each other. Why do you doubt him? Also, judging by tropes alone, Kurose proved his true love when he begged Shirotani like a puppy to not leave him. Lying bastards don't get a puppy moment in manga ;)

Just wait til' next chapter, I think you might feel at least slightly less suspicious of Kurose's feelings.

i feel you bruh. I'm afraid that Kurose will be confused of he is still in love with his childhood neighbor and that he'll feel that he is only deceiving Shirotani. Shirotani is so precious, I don't want him to be hurt

whhooooooahh I missed the notifications for all these replies! Oops, sorry.. Anyway yeah I think we're safe, let's just keep rooting for them. The whole story isn't even all that revolutionary but it's so full of indulgement of course it got crazy popular. The most special characteristic I can objectively identify in Kurose is that we so rarely see a character *actively* participating in character development/ improvement, he's a dream come true. He's the modern times prince charming: he accepts shirotani's flaws as part of a whole that he loves, but he wants him to be BETTER. He won't fix deep traumas with "power of seme love". He won't say "I'll protect you from germs babe, so don't you ever change!" He said "yes, you are sick. Yes, I still want you. No, I can't fix you. You'll do that yourself, I believe in you". And while it would be ridiculous to call his phychological recepie a "real life thing", it does very closely resemble exposure therapy, which is a very real thing, and I dunno about you guys but I can appreciate the living fcuk out of a man loves another despite having shirotani's huuuge psychiatric mess.
