I believe he's around 20 now because of the time skip. He's 15 or 16 when the story started. Then there's like 7 years time skip so he's around 21 or 22 now i guess
And even if there was romance it would be a side thing thats wholesome but the medical stuff would be the forefront. So I'm not complaining
