. . . . . okay so its explicitly stated that ash has his rut annually in the novel, next chapter i believe he says once or twice a year. for reference, its mentioned that ruts typically occur once every month to 3 months (month to 3 months might be incorrect but i remember it being mentioned that its pretty normal for alphas to have ruts once a month sometimes a little longer). so hypothetically ash has ruts around 12x (6x if twice a year) more intense than whats average. and im not saying anything more than this in relation to his previous ruts: its more than safe to say that ash also had a lot of... pent up energy in a way i just wanted to mention this for people concerned about how he was acting. if you read between the lines enough this is something that can be thought of without this information (i came to this conclusion at chapter 95 before even finding a complete trans of the novel). also by all my interpretations i believe lyle doesnt consider any of it as non-con. poor guy just needed a second to catch his breath and ash wasnt thinking enough to realise until he passed out
