i'm unsure but i think it was part of an anthology abt gods (and maybe sacrifices?)
a guy is blind and was deemed useless to his village/household (don't remember which) and was sent to be a sacrifice to a god (i think he had bird or owl features/traits).
the god said that he was a really desirable sacrifice, the most pure he's had bc the guy is blind and has not seen the evils/bad of the world.
not sure if they had sex or not but the sacrifice thought he was killed but was not and the god gave him the ability to see again saying that he wants to only show him pure/beautiful things in the world.
