Sad but funny

Mc just casually has fetal alcohol syndrome. Like the queen was just out here drinking wine full belly pregnant. Will this come up in the story? Probably not, but still that’s CRAZY

Wait but I thought he was a genius? Which shows no impairment to his cognitive abilities. Plus he was healthy until he started taking all that medicine, drugs and alcohol. His height is also pretty normal seeing as how he’s taller than his manservant. I think he avoided the repercussions because of plot armor

That's what I thought at first but then I probably figured it had something to do with alchemy/magic if the queen was ill cus of her pregnancy and went to an alchemist instead of a doctor then I doubt she used ordinary medicine, so it's probably more on the magic side rather than medicine.
Same for the uke, if alcohol helps the drug rather than hurts then I'm guessing the drug is more on the magic side then medication

I'll use the eye drops as example, you can't change your natural eye color with just eye drops so there must be magical properties within the medication.

TLDR: Drug is prolly more magic than medicine
