You're not sounding petty, you're literally being petty, they were threatening author, one can handle it upto a point but again n again getting harassed is insane, if one checks authors tweet, there are many warnings, request to adam×rozy shippers tho I do feel sad author left but I guess it was the only way for her to make them understand the consequences of their actions.
And this line you said, "discontinuing a series just because you're upset is a bit ehh" is the same line said by those Adam×Rozy shippers as they don't really care much about author in the first place.
Also about you not liking this story, I respect your opinion even tho I disagree as it's a good read for me.

I am not an adam rozy shipper. But these incidents are nothing new. Imagine gege dropped jjk for the amount of threats they get everyday. This wasn't the best way to deal with this imo.
