You're absolutely correct! As someone who has had 1 crotch goblin explode from my cave of wonders I agree. So does my hubby. In fact, it is the main reason I only had one. While I will never know if I pooped, pretty sure I did, as the rectangular block of stone that was my son squished every organ he could reach to try NOT to leave. Punk. My hubby saw his secret garden turn in the hallway when the elevator doors opened of the Shining and said no more kids. We are officially done. How he didn't pass out or throw up the world may never know. How women get pregnant 6 weeks later, I will never know. As the thought at that point was you come near me with that and I will tear it off. Plus, when you have slept maybe 2 hrs a day, still need a peri bottle to pee, and unwashed for an unknown amount of time. You feel less than sexy.
Well I was reading about child birth and pregnancy intensively since I didn't want to be against something (for me not for others) just cause I don't want the responsibility of another life but I wanted to have a full informed decision about the whole process.
You're right about how it shouldn't be sexualized but you're wrong about it not being a sexual experience to some cause according to my research some very rare cases were even having orgasms during labour.
Yes, I did read the horror stories about fractured pelvises and the "ripping" down there and even the full body paralysis or death and some even having permeant diseases after birth like having diabetes and such.
Other than the new researches that indicate that receiving uhm... male DNA that actually gets you pregnant can literally change the mother's DNA which is why some couples start looking more "alike" the older they stay together...
What I'm trying to say is the human body and the experience of having children as a whole is such a case by case different process you wouldn't even believe the vast differences in some of the things I've read... my point being is yes sexualization ew gross but child birth always being the worst experience pain-wise... not always.
This was the on going yapper speaking... stay safe and don't tire yourself reading this cause it's a whole lotta rambling about something that just piqued my interest.
The truth about DNA changing has a bit to do with the male partner, but more so with a male fetus. As a person who has had their DNA affected mostly with the joy of more testosterone, I blame it on my son. Especially when he's being a dummy. In all seriousness, even though I nearly died, worth it. He is my greatest gift, blessing, and achievement. I thank my lucky stars every day that he grew up healthy and that he calls me Mom. Unless, it is his phone, then I am "Spawn Point".

I ain't gonna pretend like this is more than basically porn but I seriously get the ick (and I seriously hate using that word) when anything sexualizes motherhood
like that one note by the author explaining how they actually wanted a natural (they used the word "mammal" but you get the idea) birth scene because they find it "pretty lewd"
Ya'll I aint got no kids of my own nor will I ever want them but GIRL THERE'S NOTHING AROUSING ABOUT THE PROCESS EXPULSING A HUMAN OUT OF YOU the actual process is so painful, graphic and raw
I feel like if you see that and you're like "that's hot" you need some serious help
