This is literally just gay Y/N. It's full of clichés, but honestly, that's whatever clichés exist because they work. That's not even my issue.
My problem is... this man is SO TOXIC.
I honestly feel like I'm being gaslit by the amount of positive comments I'm seeing here and all over social media. Like... are we reading the same thing???
It also feels like everyone is only focusing on the seme's money. I get it we're in the middle of a recession, and financial stability is probably one of the most desirable traits in a partner right now. Everyone wants to live comfortably.
But y'all keep saying he's "spoiling" the uke... honey, he isn't spoiling him. He's conditioning him. There is such a huge power imbalance here.
He's incredibly insensitive, manipulative, immature, and controlling. Even the sex scenes are hard to get through I ended up skipping them because I couldn't stand how rough he was with him. Chapters 23-24 were especially bad. He literally assaulted him while he was passed out and drunk.
I'm not against reading about a toxic top who eventually grows as a character. That's a pretty common trope, and it's why I kept reading, hoping things would get better. But it's been 50+ chapters, and he's still a walking scarlet-red flag.
I lost it because of the whole reading lists obliteration thing but
I remember it was about University students
One of them (bottom) had like shoulder lenghth green hair that he kept in what I think was a half up half down style (I could be remembering wrong)
The other one (top) was more distinctive looking, he had like black and white hair and I'm pretty sure his ears were pierced. He was also interested in the other guy first.
I recall the story being pretty short too.
I remember very little from it but it's like sci-fi? Fantasy? One of the MLs (Top) is this weird human reptile hybrid situation and I remember him having long blonde hair (I could be wrong) and the other (who I am pretty sure was the uke) is a doctor I think and If I remember correctly he had black hair and glasses?
The way that not a single one of these comments is even exaggerating, Like that thang is glorious
