People saying “I want him to beg for Dan to come back”, he won’t need to beg, Dan is spineless, and he doesn’t love himself clearly, and it makes no sense cause his character doesn’t have the background to be like that ?? In my opinion he does know what real love is (his grandma). So honestly I don’t get it. Just bad writing altogether
Also Dan didn’t leave because of the way he was treated, he left because he thinks of himself as incompetent and because he wants to be with his grandma. So again, no begging will be needed, except if Dan grows a spine at the beach
