They’re fated pairs. In the first timeline Clough and Raphiel got married only because it was Raphiel who reminded him of Aeroc and not the other way around. In every timeline, every time they first meet, they imprint on each other.
Aeroc loves this rough, violent and aggressive Clough. He’s never wanted to change him. The only thing he ever wanted was to have Clough love him back. And he does in this timeline. They get married and have children and Clough is possessive of Aeroc. Aeroc is on cloud nine despite acting tsundere towards Clough from time to time. There’s a few chapters where Clough had an accident and lost his memories and acts all sweet, polite and gentlemanly and Aeroc is going crazy because he hates that Clough. He’s desperate to have the normal violet and possessive Clough back.
Their eldest child also remembers their past lives and he has a horrible relationship with Clough. Until a man starts flirting with Aeroc and Lenox(their eldest child) joins forces with Clough to shoo him away. And then Lenox understands why his mother (Aeroc) loves Clough so much and starts loving his father a bit but not completely forgiving what he did to them in their past life.
