I don’t know about this. I think I agree with many of the comments. This guideverse feels very shallow and naive in comparison to how guideverse is usually depicted. Not to mention that it’s very difficult to highlight characters who are really similar to each other. The reason why childish,golden retriever top x taciturn, gloomy or serious bottom (or viceversa) works, it’s because it allows for a more dynamic relationship when developing the characters’ personalities. But in here they’re both shy, gloomy and quiet. So, it becomes boring? Idk I think guideverse is a more complex and dark world building. Trying to make it positive and “healthy” makes it mild and plain. This is one of those BL where you can read when you have nothing else to do and don’t need to think too much about it because nothing much is happening plot and character development wise.
Idk I have mixed feelings about this one.
I agree with you on the lack of depth in the plot and world building, it feels like so much yet so little is happening. But I think you might just prefer an opposites attract romance, which is fine, but that doesn't mean that their personalities are not developed because they have a similar vibe.
I love obsessive and possessive seme. But when their ukes match that freak, the manwha becomes even more delicious!!!!!!
