Yeah it also irks me a little when people throw around the word queerbait because it influences other readers esp since there’s SO much more to hyunjae/yoojins dynamic that we haven’t even like touched upon. And the manhwa omitting certain lines doesn’t necessarily make the whole story queerbait, it just makes an inaccurate/ineffective adaptation. It’s like calling the Mo Dao Zu Shi donghua adaptation queerbait lmao.

Just realised queerbait is such a strong but simple word to describe deep, meaningful relationships. There's this manwha which stated it was shounen-ai for 2 weeks and suddenly changed to action. It didn't change their relationship from gay to ungay-it's up to us to interpret it. If I remember correctly it's about this old guy who's a vampire and sucks this guy's neck seductively..pretty homosexual to me
