Exactly, I dropped as soon as I found out that there was a ml, since I thought this would be a family focused manhwa. Plus, it just rubbed me the wrong way when I remembered that her sister's husband and josh are related.
I say this ALOT, you can probably find my comments all over this talking about it. I always thought Aiden or the Prince should be the ML but its Josh? The kid who's related to the guy your sister married? Weird as hell
Yeah, plus the fact that MC is a grown woman who should definitely know that's very morally wrong and dubious. Also, I should specify that I dropped due to there being a ml not just because I mistook the genre, but also because mc is gross in how she reacts when she finds out that kids, who unlike her, are ACTUALLY kids, physically and mentally.
Exactlyy I remember reading this story when it only had 10 or so chapters and I really liked it, because of how wholesome it was and how different it was to others. (Like how close mc was with her sister, the different relationships with the sister's friends and the suspence on who the sister will choose) I even found it cute that mc had her own little friendgroup that was similar to her sister's, just pure and with kids. I honestly didn't expect that the story would go this direction back then... I was very disappointed :/ I did expect some romance down the line, but not this way at all. At this point I'm only reading for the good art and because I like some of the characters outside the mc
Finally I can drop this in peace. I have been feeling uncomfortable with the progress and her relationship with Josh. Knowing she's mentally an adult and she's been grooming him like some kind of a "reserve" guy. She's getting on my nerves now. Not wholesome anymore. *sigh*
It's honestly funny to me how people hate FL for being selfish and childish, but everyone completely ignores the fact how she groomed Josh and never outright refused any of the kids even though she is an adult woman. And before you say she didn't groom Josh, because she drew a line or whatever: 1 she knew Josh loved her the whole time but never really did anything about that and just let him be, even considering getting together if he kept it up until he is legal 2 she was still physically and otherwise affectionate with him all their childhood, even sleeping with him 3 she depended on him way too much and told him not to leave her (a grown ass adult depending on a 9 yo is not good) 4 after josh realized his feelings and started to show it more, FL played along with it, leading him on even more (with the partner thing, hanging out a lot, sleeping on him, giving him gifts, taking special care of him etc.), never rejecting him strongly enough to make him stop.
For anyone saying that FL didn't do it on purpose:
Why did she look at 8 yos who had puppy love and think 'if they keep these feelings when we are 18, then I might get together with them', then? To me it seems like she consciously/unconsciously groomed a kid so he wouldn't stop loving her, which is a looooot worse than being selfish or being cold to her sister. Still I don't hate the story, and the art is good, it's just annoying that all of these people hate on FL, but for the wrong reasons.
