I think it was a mix of both. Moondae just turned the posts into a strange dream due to lack of sleep.
They did, them being in the car post event is a different time from when moondae woke up in the car to go to the event

The Elon glazing is killing me, especially because none of it is true and they'd know that if the author did even some basic research TT The MC is supposed to be a really knowledgeable businessman so this very surface level understanding of how Elon's past and future endeavours worked is OOC too. Most people in the business world don't take Elon seriously and know he stole the credit for every project he worked on. He is also a PR hell who most people don't like to associate with anymore. Someone from the future would know all this.
The comment of 'age doesn't matter' to a 6 yo after the files releasing just made things even worse man... Do none of the people on the art/publishing team read about the people they are depicting just in case something might be wrong? The story was pretty decent up until ol' musky had to appear... I hope this won't repeat because it really ruined my perception of the research work they put into this story.
