Also for people that are talking about how them not recognising each other despite doing voice chat is unrealistic: I've met online friends before and even with a picture I couldn't recognize them until they introduced themselves. Also I've spoken with people I knew irl for years on zoom, and had a hard time recognizing them by only voice. If you really don't expect someone to be a person you know, you would probably just think 'oh they have kinda a similar voice?' and that's only when they have a good quality mic. Especially with how different their personality is irl vs online. But the pastry thing is definitely a bit of a stretch lmao Mc might not care enough to think about it, but if ML didn't figure it out/suspect it now despite being so paranoid, then that would've been out of character for him. But he does seem to suspect it now, even if MC is brushing him off, so there is hope ig.

The mtl is actually fine, but the format is confusing.
I don't want FL to choose either of them because she is way too old for them and she doesn't view them romantically whatsoever, it's only the system forcing her to view them differently. I wish she could get together with one of the gods tho, since they were there for her for centuries, they are good looking, know everything about her circumstances , helped her through thick and thin and the age gap isn't bad either. I really hope she gets to summon them soon before developing forced feelings for one of the boys.

I would simply like to point out that the gods are 2000+ yrs old if I remember right. And how old is mc? A few hundred years old. Technically that age gap would be worse
To me its the same as a 40 yo dating a 70 yo, after a while the age gap doesn't really matter, because both parties are mature enough to not have a messed up power structure. If a 20 yo dated a 50 yo, it would be technically the same age gap, yet it would be very wrong and most likely unheallthy. There is a huge difference between the almost 600 yo mc dating men in their 20s and the 600 yo mc dating a few thousand yo god. Also she is 30x their age, while the gods are at max 10x her age.

It's honestly funny to me how people hate FL for being selfish and childish, but everyone completely ignores the fact how she groomed Josh and never outright refused any of the kids even though she is an adult woman. And before you say she didn't groom Josh, because she drew a line or whatever: 1 she knew Josh loved her the whole time but never really did anything about that and just let him be, even considering getting together if he kept it up until he is legal 2 she was still physically and otherwise affectionate with him all their childhood, even sleeping with him 3 she depended on him way too much and told him not to leave her (a grown ass adult depending on a 9 yo is not good) 4 after josh realized his feelings and started to show it more, FL played along with it, leading him on even more (with the partner thing, hanging out a lot, sleeping on him, giving him gifts, taking special care of him etc.), never rejecting him strongly enough to make him stop.
For anyone saying that FL didn't do it on purpose:
Why did she look at 8 yos who had puppy love and think 'if they keep these feelings when we are 18, then I might get together with them', then? To me it seems like she consciously/unconsciously groomed a kid so he wouldn't stop loving her, which is a looooot worse than being selfish or being cold to her sister. Still I don't hate the story, and the art is good, it's just annoying that all of these people hate on FL, but for the wrong reasons.
Exactly, I dropped as soon as I found out that there was a ml, since I thought this would be a family focused manhwa. Plus, it just rubbed me the wrong way when I remembered that her sister's husband and josh are related.
I say this ALOT, you can probably find my comments all over this talking about it. I always thought Aiden or the Prince should be the ML but its Josh? The kid who's related to the guy your sister married? Weird as hell
Yeah, plus the fact that MC is a grown woman who should definitely know that's very morally wrong and dubious. Also, I should specify that I dropped due to there being a ml not just because I mistook the genre, but also because mc is gross in how she reacts when she finds out that kids, who unlike her, are ACTUALLY kids, physically and mentally.
Exactlyy I remember reading this story when it only had 10 or so chapters and I really liked it, because of how wholesome it was and how different it was to others. (Like how close mc was with her sister, the different relationships with the sister's friends and the suspence on who the sister will choose) I even found it cute that mc had her own little friendgroup that was similar to her sister's, just pure and with kids. I honestly didn't expect that the story would go this direction back then... I was very disappointed :/ I did expect some romance down the line, but not this way at all. At this point I'm only reading for the good art and because I like some of the characters outside the mc
Finally I can drop this in peace. I have been feeling uncomfortable with the progress and her relationship with Josh. Knowing she's mentally an adult and she's been grooming him like some kind of a "reserve" guy. She's getting on my nerves now. Not wholesome anymore. *sigh*
I'm so sad about this change.. the art was one of my fav styles in shounen especially with how expressive and unique everyone was, even the side characters. But it's not only the art that's the problem. I don't know if the person writing the dialogue/script also changed, but the whole personality of the main characters changed. FL was this strong dominant girl who was playful and didn't hide her interest in MC, who also looked badass and although she was pretty, she did look like a fighter. One of the very few FLs who I loved in shounen. But now she is this watered down aggressive tsundere with over the top reactions, who gets friendzoned by the also watered down paper cut out MC who is all of a sudden clueless about her feelings. He also lost his cool and somewhat mysterious attitude he worked so hard to develop, bot to mention his fit body, even when he was a wuss, he still looked threatening when serious, now he looks weak even when using his edeya. It's like we reverted to the early chapters in development, but we also took away everyone's IQ and uniqueness. It wouldn't be bad if this was the first chapters of a new story, but man they really ruined something great with a mid continuation.
Does anyone know a story similar to this? Like where the mc is noticeably ill and throws up blood, people around them think that they don't care for themselves enough, but they still push through for their goals? Can be any genre, not just straight romance.

If I remember correctly then no, they just took out sex scenes (and of course dialogue that came with it) for cencored version
Second sex scene that happens cuts out 3 chapters worth if you're curious. It was around chapter 52 to 55??? Can't remember, but i remember it being so fucking bad, the end result of those 3 chaps being 2 pages worth.
