One day when JQ comes to mountain, SLQ was disappeared. And PXX found SLQ first. Correct me if I’m wrong, my memory playing tricks on me.
No JQ didn't find the plant at all. When SLQ almost died that bandit just gave JQ a medicine that would keep SLQ alive for three days. In those three days JQ carried SLQ to mountain and left him in the cave. SLQ was unconscious all this time. After leaving SLQ in jade platform. JQ went back and informed about all this to PXX. Then he moved to new place nearer to the mountain and sent an army to find the magical plant. But to JQ disappointment he never found the plant. After 2 years when he knows about PXX wedding he finally decides to go meet him and there he saw SLQ alive. Then PXX told him that he found the magical plant first and gave it to SLQ then brought him back to loulan with himself.

So i just finished reading the novel because I couldn't sit and wait for manhua update at the end. So there's the whole story
I started reading from Ch 40 after all that torture scene and all.
So while Song Liqing family was locked in jail and SLQ was tortured and left. The emperor woke up from coma when he learned about what Jun Qing did he slapped him for the first time (should've been done way more earlier)
JQ ego was hurt but when he learned the true that SLQ didn't poison the emperor he himself went to pick up SLQ from prison.
SLQ decided to completely give up on JQ here. When he started acting little distant from JQ his ego was hurt. For few days they both lived together JQ thought SLQ forgave him by his half assed efforts. Mf. When he went to court SLQ burned everything that was related to him even the pen and paper and went to court. Everyone thought it was getting better between them so no one could belive that SLQ asked for divorce.
JQ is pretty short tempted so he thought SLQ will definitely regret it and soon come back to him. So in moment of arrogance he agreed. SLQ left and went to his father song home.
