Nah that series is a meh IMHO
The drama ruin the webtoon plot LOLOL they changed so many things from the webtoon. I gave up near the end of the series since I couldn't stand the FL's acting. LOL the only saving grace was the Grandfather, omg his acting was superb FR
But the webtoon is still superior

I also didn’t like the female lead very much. But the relationship between the grandfather and the ML is different than in the webtoon and I actually liked it T-T
But yeah the show was WAYY different, but it also made everything unexpected yk
IKR and since I went in knowing the webtoon and it just bumped me out. The same applies with Bride of the Water God. The show was a disaster LOL the manhwa was 100x better executed. I would give them a participation award for attempting to incorporate modern day with ancient fantasy... hahhhh and the FL in this was just hahhhh. The side couple had so much more chemistry, I gave up watching it half way- like I couldn't bring myself to finish it.
that's why it's better for some manhwas to stay as manhwas cause real live version will just ruin it
I totally agree. I got pretty shook when I saw a promotional live action video for The Villainess is a Marionette LOL - the casting was poorly made and nothing matches the manhwa except for the costume designs I'll give it that. But I was scared bc of the casting LOL
