It’s like these female authors are allergic to versatile couples or side couples. I don’t need a top turned bottom forever and ever just so a character meets its heteronormative heterosexual cis gendered female readers projections it’s so fucking weird at this point. It’s fucking 2024. They can both be tops for fucks sake and still be in a relationship that isn’t one sidedly pressured. It’s not sweet. It’s insulting.
I don’t entirely know why you replied to me with this but I agree. I’m a switch myself and genderfluid aro/ace. (I know it might sound confusing lol but I’m not going to explain that rn) so I’d really appreciate a manga where both people can be tops and bottoms as they please and if both of them hate one vs the other there’s always things they can do without insertion. If its such a big deal to put it in they should go find someone who is happy with that dynamic. But honestly all mangas are like this right now, not just BL. So I just shrug. I do like big bottoms tho, muscular tall subs are just my cup of tea.
