Both Ian's and Brian's lives have been different. Where Brian grew up to be a leader respected by most, Ian had to live his life believing he was a monster and was brain-washed to belive no one besides Lorkan would ever love him. Now, he metido someone who could understand and love him, only to discover he sees is past self in him, can you even guess how that must feel?
Besides, at the end of the day they're still the same person. If you dislike Ian and think that this flashback (which is not the main story) it's better then i recommend you drop this manhwa as soon the flashback it's over. This is a story about Ian, Brian is just a part of him.

Girl i never said i dislike ian i said i like brian personality the most as in the whole manhwa i was not even thinking about ian when i said that to begin with the only time i thought about him is when he didn't recognise his face and even this i was saying it as a joke . Also i can still like both but like one more and let's say it was the case and i dislike ian why would i drop the manhwa when the plot is good
