She does have a reason, because she was always compared to Ilya (by literally EVERYONE), she unconsciously made her, her rival.
Surpassing Ilya, she hopes to get a 'reward' or love from the people around her, and show that she is capable of things too. Her childhood and ppl around her obv are at fault at shaping her that way, so I hope she gets redeemed at some point
I said that I almost felt bad for her and I did spend a good chunk of my original comment praising her but the thing is though is what does any of that have to with Ilya she never asked to be compared to Stella this is all just Stella one sidedly pushing things because for all her outward confidence she doesn’t know how to stand up to people and that is sad but this Ilya’s story not Stella’s and she’s about to do something very bad to get a leg up on someone who couldn’t give less of a shit it also doesn’t really excuse her stealing from Ilya and trying to tie bbg Karhan into what would definitely be a miserable relationship
But this isn’t a very dark story (as far as I can see) and it’s not like Stella is in love with Karhan or anything so I don’t see her going to far but I know characters like her and I really believe that she isn’t gonna improve for awhile if ever
Stella is so fucking petty she literally hates Ilya for no reason I almost felt bad for her because of her inferiority complex but it still has nothing to do with Ilya who she unilaterally made her rival and stole from for attention she even wanted Karhan just because to try and lord him over Ilya (who literally wouldn't give a shit since she was happy and in love with Rehart) it's so sad because she's actually so pretty and funny (I really liked seeing her visit the Bloden estate) yet she's dug herself and is unwilling to climb out of it she only wants to dig deeper ╥﹏╥ (╯°Д °)╯╧╧
