He’s definitely behind all of the “bad luck” surrounding MC too, I feel like. Like something tells me me he’s the one who causes a misunderstanding between the couple in their past life and is wanting to keep MC to himself.
I wrote a comment about that, few pages behind. I'm certain he's has a lot to do with everything bad happening. He knew goblin was goblin, yet lied to mc and sent him to break the seal, because obviously as goblin stated only ine person can break it. And goblin can't see his face, again sus as hell.
