I have it somewhere in my lists, but since everything got scrambled and I haven't recovered everything yet since the crash, I can't scroll through everything to find it.
It's BL omegaverse where, I think both men are alpha. One is blonde and one has black hair. Blonde one acts promiscuous with bunch of women because he wants to protect himself from his own brother by portraying himself as only interested in night life. His brother wants to inherit the company their family owns and threatens to kill blonde haired man if he shows even slightest interest in the business. In order to protect himself further, blonde man starts contract relationship with black haired one, where he's bottoming for the first time and their physical relationship is very humiliating for blonde since bkack hair acts like piece of crap in the beginning. Both of them will get something useful from acting like they are in relationship, so they are as open about being 'in love' as possible, especially since blonde needs protection. Later blonde seems to start catching feelings and black haired starts treating him way better but as per usual acts all high and mighty.
Idk if it's the right thing to do, but I started adding all my titles back manually. I've saved around 700 titles in Excel and some more in my reading journal. Plus will scroll through sections I usually explore to see if I can find more. Because at this point I don't think things will go back to usual despite all hard work developers did to restore everything. With millions of accounts it's pretty hard to guarantee everything will be fixed. Plus according to mails some of users sent to developers and comparing it to what I've got back a week ago, only rated stuff will be back. Now I just rate and add tags by memory. And it's somewhat good thing since there are some stories I would like to revisit
Before my rated ones came back I added some and nothing changed probably the date of which it is marked but otherwise all seems normal I think it’s fine adding things back manually
I don't support harassment of the author in the slightest, it's just not normal to behave in such manner because of the fictional story. But to be honest, I really feel disappointed. It's one of the rare stories where characters had usual kind of BL top and bottom dynamic but without any sick escalation like rape, fing chains around ankels or neck, stalking, physical violence, destroyed careers etc. Having someone chained and raping him only few days after he got badly beaten up (he would need quite a lot of time for all those bruises to heal and not to hurt irl but it's not irl story so let's pretend it heals in 3 days). And ofc that kind of assault will be glossed over by adding the fact that bottom wanted it too, out of spite and it was consensual. Yea, they both are freaky to some extent, but it just ruins the overall story now. They'll make up and live happily ever after. Than they can randomly mention, oh, do you remember the time when I chained and raped you and than I probably said load of bs so you forgave me for the sake of toxic bl plot.
Author could have taken literally any other direction with it, there was bunch of options, still dark enough but not as sick as plotting Stockholm syndrome and still have us to see how possessive and obsessed top is, it was quite clear even before that he's like that, without doing any maniacal things.
