Her power is exchaning someone's lifespan for a moment of relief from pain. She's making the condition worse but pretends she heals them. In the novel she would use a year of someone's life to "heal" them but the condition came back and actually worsened so they demanded she heals them again and used more years until that person had no lifespan anymore and died. So She's a fking crook that doesnt even use her own power to heal others, shes just using their life without even telling them.
