You see this is what I hate about the BL community. One minute everyone is up in arms about Jinx, meanwhile dismissing rape in another story because the sex scenes are good.
Now I won't lie, it took me a minute to get past the second chapter, as well; however, I will say, compared to other BL stories, the seme here at least regrets his actions and tries to redeem himself.

That’s literally abuse & it’s normalized in a way that is upsetting. I’m upset bc nowhere in the reviews for the manhwa did ppl mention it which is worrisome. I was expecting something similar to the pizza delivery man & the gold palace and was not prepared for the ML to use the MC’s brother as a tool for compliance to rape MC in chapter two. And the fact ppl wanna act like I’m outta pocket for feeling this way is the craziest part. Thanks for your support.

I gave up on Jinx for that exact reason. Jaekyung makes my blood boil; I wanna protect Dan so badly. At least with that one there is a general warning about the ML constantly raping the MC. no one prepared me for the MLxMC rape scene for this one. it wasn’t a wild thing to be upset over ml essentially holding the little brother hostage and abusing a vulnerable person. the mc was literally about to commit a double suicide with the brother, and within the same day was brutally raped by the person who guilt tripped/imprisoned him? it’s a valid reason to dislike the story LMAO
