He’s literally a deplorable person. The fact that he never double checked if renee actually killed the heroine, says a lot about his character. He also forced her to basically marry him. NOT ONLY THAT! He only acting different because he feels guilty of what he did to her in the pass.
With everything renee has been through. She deserves someone who loves her for her. Let’s not forget he was the only one who didn’t think/didn’t care that she’s a supposed “villainess”.
