Yeah unfortunately it gets a bit worse before she gets happy not to give to much away I read a bit of the novel but circumstances force her to run away and fake her death bc lowkey everyone is obsessed with her. The ML he gets his memory back becomes obsessive over her and her dead body( which is a fake one, not even her body) and she runs away with her twins lives happily on a farm
