Why do the author always end the chapter with cliffhanger 😭

I mean, a lot of authors do. For the suspense.

Yep... suspense... and also so you have to buy/read the next chapter to find out. Where else are they gonna end it? No matter where they end it we'd say it's a cliffhanger... they just choose the highest need so legit readers have to buy the next chapter to find out.
