He most definitely loves her but has issues properly conveying his true feelings to her especially when she's being so distant
He might love her, but I think he’s just too emotionally constipated to even notice (￣∇￣") I think he’s been fighting for his life for so long that he’s tries to rationalize everything - as in, staying with someone just because of love would leave to danger bc it doesn’t have any reason or something. Fingers crossed they both reach some understanding!
