Yeah but she doesn’t know that for sure since he kept mentioning how there doesn’t need to be “love” just companionship with someone who aligns with his interests. So it’s only right for her to assume that his points haven’t risen- it’d be more dangerous to take that chance when he’s defiant against romantic partnership
Because in the game, the love interest will confess their love and say 'I love you' once they reach 100%. Not only did Callisto not confess, he also basically said he's not looking for sth foolish like 'love' and chose Penelope cuz she's logically the best choice.
Whether he's the type to know if he's in love or not doesn't matter. To Penelope, this is all just a game, so once a male character reaches 100%, he will definitely know and confess.
Exactly~ so I think she’s backing up because 1. she has no time for her to keep working on raising his points, since she probably thinks he will stop caring once he has a suitable match and 2. She prob also thinks his points won’t ever rise because he’s not interested in love at all ╮(￣▽￣)╭ now the ball is in his court to prove her wrong. Atp she’s emotionally and mentally drained
