I dislike the brother but at least he is smart snd not one of those clichés where the careful antagonist acts like an imbecile.
Also, I get that MC and ML had an age gap as adults, but couldn't he have traveled back to being 18 or something? It's creepy that adult ML is falling for kid MC.
If it turns out that the brother is just overprotective and not a freak, then, truly, ML is the antagonist from his perspective. It's an adult that is letting his little underage brother live with him to do God knows what and potentially groom him.
