Sehyuk’s behavior

There’s this weird parallel between how the sicko guy at the orphanage treated Sehyuk and that scene where he removes his belt to tie up Hamin. From the gestures to the dialogue about Hamin needing to be punished and needing the vent his anger until he wasn’t mad anymore or even the line “ whip you harder” looking at the flashback, it’s quite eerie. All things considered Sehyuk didn’t turn out so bad with growing up with being ostracized ,neglected, mentally, emotionally and physically abused and all that but it’s interesting to see how the author is possibly showing how much he’s still a product of his environment. His need to overpower people and assert his dominance and etc. It’s kind of interesting rereading the whole thing and seeing the culmination of Sehyuk’s obsession and commitment to get Hamin, really makes the whole thing more intense but also there’s so many scenes where he was hinting at what he’d do once he stopped holding back that yeah this is almost fair play lol, Hamin was warned again and again and again .

Sehyuk even told him before the culminated gang shootout that he had plans for him.. and his reaction and pouting after Hamin got stabbed and hurt.. the child from the orphanage is still there and present ;)
