I haven't caught up with it, but I'd say go ahead and try it out. It gets progressively better as you go on, but if by the end of like chapter 37, you still don't like it, then maybe it's just not for you.
You should try it, I love black Butler been a fan for years because of Sebastian, aside from him the plot is good at the start but it went dull at recent chapters and they barely update chapters
yes, the beginning is a little meh but it gets interesting in the later arcs. i loved seeing the gradual improvement of the art too

It's the end of the circus arc if I'm remembering right. Just thought it'd be easiest to give you a specific arc to end off on before deciding whether you'd want to continue or drop it. I was going to say give it until the end of chapter 65 (the end of another arc), but that might be too many chapters to read before deciding if you like it. By that point, you'd probably already make your decision lol.
