Right?? Like I stopped reading BL manhwa because this. always. happen what the duck is *wrong* with the authors?? Are those the korean yaoi hands and chins??? And it's not even restricted to BL, look up the Lucia manhwa, I had to switch to the novel because the character's proportions became so ridiculous I could not take the story seriously anymore lol
(And yes there are amazing BL manhwa where this twinkification doesn't happen but it's like looking for consent *cough* sorry, a needle in a haystack!!)
I totally agree! It's always been a gripe of mine when that happens (sometimes it even happens while the first season is still ongoing!). And I get that sometimes it's an art-style thing (they can shift after all), but that's usually not the case because it never happens to the seme or other characters seen in the manhwa.
I've seen it so many times that I only ever look for BLs with more muscular (or at least mildly toned) uke's so I don't feel like I'm looking at some sort of shotacon's fantasy (and also because they're less likely to change the appearance of the uke without it looking completely out of place).

I’m just upset that whenever a manhwa updates like after season 1 the uke’s are more twinkified like the fuck??? Can’t they just be constant in their character design and let the uke’s be looking like a proper adults and not a fucking child-looking people with their thin necks, legs, arms, why don’t they just draw a woman with a dick
I do feel proud that most of the style, design, and coloring improved but why do they have to twinkify the uke’s btw this is just my opinion and I don’t hate artist for their art and again I’m just upset they twinkify everything
