I think of someone is not respecting and Supporting Queer people they should Stop consuming queer Media, Bl/GL is Gay and lesbian romance if I am being blunt, people Who doesn't support LGBTQ should Never be Allowed in community that belongs to Queer Media, Ik you all are stuck But you all are Forgetting bl and gl are a Queer Media even though we call it bl it never will change the fact that it's gay romance (hence, queer)

i feel like if you’re consuming lgbtq content you are therefore in support of the LGBTQ+ community, if you don’t support them yet continue to consume the content that’s exploitative and a bit cruel. in many of the LGBTQ+ stories you may read they grapple with the topics of homophobia and how hard it is on them. you can have your religion and also support the community i feel ? people are entitled to love who they love as long as there is consent involved, they aren’t hurting anyone, while you may believe that someone is going to hell or face eternal damnation for who they love that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t respect/support the choice for people to love who they love. i personally am not religious so i may not fully understand the complexities of lgbtq+ and your religion but if you are fine consuming lgbtq+ media then deep down you do support the lgbtq+ community. you can say that you don’t support them yet enjoy content that’s features them. if you truly didn’t support them you would avoid their content.

as said by the other commenters i believe that consuming LGBTQ content can be viewed as the same sin as being LGBTQ. either stop consuming the content because 1. if you aren’t in support you truly don’t deserve the right to consume it and be involved in the community or 2. reflect on yourself and realize that what you are doing is in direct support of the community
after reflecting on that decide whether you should purge yourself of all LGBTQ content or reflect on whether you are actually in support or not. i understand faith is important to people and can be a crucial part of one’s identity but maybe reflect on your religion and its values. many people are born into religion and the fact that you are fine consuming LGBTQ media might be saying something you don’t realize about yourself. is loving someone who also loves you wrong ? if you believe so, why is it wrong ? challenge yourself and challenge your beliefs. of course you don’t have to listen to a random person on a forum of a manga website but i believe support and love is one of the best things in the world. love is an universal feeling experienced by many. if you’d like, maybe check out the manga “a home far away” it’s called “Haruka Tooki Ie” on here. it’s a good representation of how religion can affect someone who is gay.

Well, gay people aren’t just fictional. We exist in real life and we deserve to have love in our life just like anyone else. It’s disgusting to reduce us as just sexual entertainment while thinking that we don’t deserve basic human rights and that our love is sinful and shouldn’t be open about it.
