Some Korean authors need to take writing lessons

It’s 2024 and they’re still poorly hashing out the same oudated “incredibly stupid, timid, pathetic, completely unrelatable Saint MC”. There’s a way to use cliches and classics that doesn’t make the audiences want to weep - this is obviously not one of them.

I'm pretty sure the MC tried to avoid it but because the guy was an alpha it prob caused his trauma to like act up. I also have trauma myself so I can relate to ''something triggered the my trauma and it makes me feel choked,I feel helpless '' and it's actually quite admirable he was even able to the speak up to the alpha yk? anyhow you still have a point and i don't it's wrong but i too have my own opinion to the story : )

That’s a good view point, but this story has been messed up from the start. The ML should’ve given MC a free life to start with, but instead, he got an arranged marriage without MC’s recognition.

He fully understood the meaning and intent of following the brother to the bathroom; he knew they passed by 2 bathrooms already, he felt danger to the point of trembling just by the mere presence of the brother since his appearance so yeah why would he still follow the brother?

It all comes down to power, one glaring detail is this party was organized by his fiancé’s family. Since the start, the mc showed eagerness to please his adoptive father to the point of sabotaging his fiance. Why was the mc even engaged to the ml in the first place, because his adoptive father wanted the power of being connected to the organizer of this current party, so wouldn’t it conflict with what the mc has bet his life and body on if he made a scene and ruin that connection. The mc agreed to the marriage knowing full well he was being sold out by his adoptive family, following a dangerous individual to again please his adoptive family is still consistent with what he was from the beginning, nothing changed.

I finished the novel yesterday, Jung Sejin is actually a very very strong main character, especially for a bottom omega. He does not forgive Kwon Yido easily for his mistake, both of his past life and present, after he learns what he did. I don't want to spoil but he makes him cry, crawl and literally beg on his knees for forgiveness. And when I say literally I really mean it. He often has perverse thought about Kwon Yido being incredibly hot when crying and begging and being incredibly submissive to him. Jung Sejin is very much the one "wearing pants" in their relationship as he is the one dictating every single thing, like Kwon Yido says. In this exact scene, without any spoilers, Jung Sejin just obeys because he thinks it will cause problems for him, Kwon Yido and his own family if he acts out and later has ptsd and gets as he dreams all the time of being raped.
