I feel like the issue is people nowadays read something and can't seem to interpret that these pieces of fiction ARE morally bad in the story itself, and that's what the whole premise is built on. But they'd rather shit on every single thing that isn't green fluff, whilst also secretly reading the more toxic fiction.
We don't read this because we agree to it in real life, it's just nice to read something that can evoke some sort of emotion, whether it's disgust, horror or intrigue

Its unfair how weirdly interesting this is. I think its because the author did a good job with the writing
