Imma be mad if this goes down. You see, Mangago is actually a good thing, because if not for Mangago, people may not know about these Manhwa and such, and wouldn’t be supporting the author by then going from here to websites and apps such as Lezhin, Bilibili, Tapas, WEBTOON, Webcomics etc etc. I found them thanks to Mangago and are now supporting those authors via them. Mangago also helped authors gain more popularity. We can see from the Dear Benjamin incident that Mangago is indeed good. From that incident, we got to read the Manhwa, and the author gained a bunch of support. It was a win win. But people can’t seem to see that. I strongly believe that if Mangago does indeed go down, many authors will be finding themselves with less support.
Mangago is also good in a sense of those manga and such that are not popular, have been dropped or really old manga. This also brings the community to discuss these manga and people get together to translate them, which I for one think is a very pleasing thing to see.
Another thing is that those who currently can’t afford to buy the Manhwa then decide to wait till they’re older so that they can’t buy them.
This is exactly why people need to see the good side of Mangago. It brings more support, not decreases them. And I want people to see that.
