From what i see, mai has feeling for Shin'ya even before she knows Shin'ya isn't her father
I don't remember seeing it, and if she did, eww, because she thought he was her biological father. And again, this theme went absolutely nowhere and was there just to have it be there. Cut it out and it changes nothing about anything.

I was almost drop this when i saw sign of mai in love with her father, even if he wasn't her biological father. But still!! He is the one who raised her from baby till grown up!!!
What's more, the author even have to make shin'ya die just before he can meet rinko face to face!!!!
Well, again, it's partly shin'ya's fault for everything to happened. If only he didn't stop rinko from killing that crazy woman, everything won't go wrong.
One question though, is odagiri (mai's father) really in love with rinko? How come i can't see it? From what i see, it was like odagiri's trying to leave some mark/traces of him in the world, by having sex with rinko. But when the crazy woman told him rinko is pregnant, he didn't believe it. I'm really confused by odagiri's feeling.
Seriously, WTF was up with that. Shin-ya raises Mai as his daughter since her birth, but once she turns 15, he starts lusting after her from time to time because she looks like her mother. And Mai, WTF!?! She discovers that Shin'ya, whom she thought was her biological father for 15 years, is actually her adoptive/stepfather, and she's suddenly in love with him.
What the hell was the author thinking. This added absolutely nothing to the plot, and was completely 100% unnecessary. It didn't even go anywhere, and seemed to be thrown in the story just because. It lasted for like 10 pages, and then that's it. Mai was rejected, the end. It not only came completely out of the blue, but was stupid, pointless, irrelevant, and disturbing. If they took out that bit of romance, the story would be no different. In fact, it took more effort to put it in there. Seriously, why did the author include it? It actually took away from the story rather than added anything, simply giving us a WTF moment before dropping from the plot completely.
