Okay, upsetting that they've been apart for 2 years (〜￣△￣)〜 but it makes sense for their situation! 1) "quick fix" might not have been that quick 2) we don't know how far away their planet is and how time operates there (and in terms of travel) So 2 years is actually alright, given all that.
