Bringing them to justice (this is most unlikely to happen, but it's never zero).
Enter a witness program? (Is this only in the west?) If you believe your life is threatened you can enter as one, which I think how it goes. He can have a new name and place.
Unfamiliarity will take some time, but there'll eventually be someone who'll become a part of his life as a friend, family, or even a potential intimate partner (emotionally/physically).

Reading every chaps with a heavy feeling. Kept screaming to just k*ll those bastrds or for the to go drown himself. Honestly don't think he can heal from those things. Just k*ll them and then urself mc, free urself.
